本期主题为“窗户与立面+天然建筑材料”。“窗户与立面”部分的工程案例最大的亮点就是建筑立面独具巧思。建筑立面既是建筑的外观，又具备保护功能，保护建筑免受恶劣天气的影响，也传达了某种建筑含义，“天然建筑材料”部分介绍的几个工程案例都使用了天然建筑材料建造。随着木结构建筑越来越受欢迎，人们对稻草、软木和黏土等其他天然环保材料的兴趣也与日俱增。尽管使用天然材料建造房屋不一定是最便宜的选择，但它们能耗低，易于拆卸，对环境的影响极小，优势显著。
